IDD302 Final Project Outline
Spring 2009
Your name: Yusuke Inomata
Project title: How to push a canoe
Project description:
(Describe what online instruction you are going to develop. Provide enough details so that people can understand what you are developing.)
This online instruction helps people to push a canoe well with a long thin stick.
Project context:
(Who is the audience? What is the organization that this online instructional program built for? Describe it so that people who are not familiar with your context can still understand it.)
This is for tour guides of PCC. PCC tour guides sometimes have an assignment for pushing canoe. So this program built for teaching basic and advance skills of canoe pushing.
Project rationale:
(Describe why this online instructional program is needed. You must justify the necessity of the program.)
All of tour guides (men) must know how to push a canoe for their guests. So, they practice how to push after hiring as a tour guide, but there is no program that they can watch and learn. So this program must be a great source for them.
Instructional objectives:
(Instructional objectives help you clarify what exact knowledge, skills, and attitude you want the learners to acquire from this program. State here the A, B, C, and D of your objectives. See Winegarden’s article in Blackboard.)
At the end of this online training, students will be able to…
1) know what is the safety precautions
2) learn how to go forward and turn right and left.
3) become an advance canoe pusher that they can learn how to push fast, turn quickly, and stop.
Instructional method:
(Describe how you will teach it and by using what media.)
I can teach it by video program.
Assessment:
(Describe how you will assess whether the learners have learned and whether you have achieved your objectives.)
I will put quizzes on the online instructional program, so I can assess how much they know about canoe pushing.
